This site is the result of thousands of hours of research by the National Park Service staff and volunteers from the NOVA association of the Lockheed Martin Corporation at Valley Forge National Historical Park. It is important to note that records kept during the American Revolution were not always complete or detailed.  Some were lost during the war and others were destroyed when Washington D.C. was burned during the War of 1812.
