Left Valley Forge with the 5th Virginia Regiment and the 9th Virginia Regiment, 507 men assigned, 281 fit for duty.

Previous engagements: Chesapeake Bay, Northern New Jersey, Trenton-Princeton, Defense of Philadelphia, Philadelphia-Monmouth
